HR INTERVIEW
HR Interview refers to a formal meeting between hirer and applicant. It is just a short-listing round. In this round, few candidates who have been selected in previous rounds are shortlisted. It is not a final selection round. So instead of focusing on being selected, care must be taken that you are not rejected.
Before attending any interview, one must have a former preparation. Practice builds confidence. It will make you to face the interviewer without hesitation. Interviewer can ask any question related to anything. Relevant answers must be given. There are no right or wrong answers in HR Interview. All that matters, is the way you answer.
It is non-technical round. It checks your soft-skills. If your technical qualification was only thing that matters to your company, it would not conduct this round. The company needs to know your compatibility levels.
Many people go nerves before attending HR round. But do remember that it is not only you that needs to be placed in company, but company too needs you. It called you to get you selected but not to reject. So don't slip the chance with your unnecessary fear.
The first thing to remember is that its not everytime the language skill. Along with the basic communication skills, one need to first listen the question clearly. Do not interrupt the interviewer. And secondly, you should absorb the question properly. It means try to understand the real intension of interviewer and the correct meaning of question asked. Then try to answer with confidence without any fear. Be loud and clear.
Do not be in a hurry and talk fast and unclear. Be sure that, you make sense and are understandable by interviewer. The session may end by interviewer asking you to question anything. Try to utilise the chance and do not hesitate to ask any doubts of yours. Do not forget to thank the interviewer before you leave !
